CONSTITUTION PARK TRAILS
CUMBERLAND, MD
The newest addition to Allegany County’s biking scene, the
Constitution Park trail system, promises world-class flow trails
that cater to beginners and professionals alike. Spanning five
miles and featuring nine multi-use sections, these trails wind
through lush forests, offering a serene yet accessible escape
into nature. Highlights include a family-friendly, ADA-compliant
trail and exciting flow features like small jumps, doubles, table
tops, and thrilling turns with high berms on a smooth
surface. The trails connect park landmarks like the
duck pond and Mayor’s Monument, blending natural
immersion with glimpses of Cumberland’s charm.
Though still receiving finishing touches after construction,
these trails have already attracted enthusiastic users
from Maryland and beyond.
ROCKY GAP STATE PARK TRAILS
FLINTSTONE, MD
Rocky Gap offers a diverse mix of trails that appeal to all skill
levels. The popular Lakeside Loop Trail (5.5 miles) provides
scenic views of Lake Habeeb, while the challenging Evitts
Homesite Trail (6 miles out and back) boasts a 1,000-foot
elevation gain and stunning vistas. For a moderate experience,
try the Rocky Trail or Settler’s Path, which traverse wooded
areas with opportunities to extend your ride.

LONACONA LOOP TRAIL
This 4.5-mile singletrack features rocky terrain and a 650foot elevation gain, perfect for bikers seeking a moderate
challenge. Plans for a connector trail will soon add more
variety to your ride.
GREEN RIDGE STATE FOREST
MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL
For seasoned riders, this 12.5-mile Green Ridge circuit,
marked by white blazes and brown arrows, offers moderate
to difficult singletrack through rugged terrain and forest roads,
winding up and down hills through one of Maryland’s most
scenic state forests.
